(ooc: May 2nd. Open to anyone you think would fit here. Once again, KEEP THIS THREAD DECENTLY PACED. If it starts zooming ahead and people start getting lost, I will not be happy. Okay?)
Well. It looks like things are actually pretty quiet for once.
It went without saying that Jim was relatively pleased by this notion. The fact that there appeared to be little of importance going on in the town square meant that he wouldn't have to worry about doing any detective work that day, or at least for the time being. Whatever the chase, the young detective was relieved. Finally he had some time to himself that wouldn't be interrupted.
Presently, Jim was strolling through the square and making his way toward where a little fountain was located. It was the prime spot for keeping an eye out for trouble, he'd found, and he had to admit that he liked sitting around there anyway. The sound of water splashing about was relaxing, and it allowed Jim to put his thoughts away from those related to his line of work. No crimes to deal with, no thieves to try and get stolen property from, it was just him and the town. That, of course, included the fountain he was proceeding to sit near. He crossed his arms back behind his head as he adjusted his position on the bench nearest the fountain and let one leg cross over the other. Blue eyes drooped lazily and a small smile appeared on his face. Yes, sir. Nothing could possibly ruin his good mood.

Ichigo flew across the skies of the city, doing a patrol route. He had been patrolling since yesterday as he was attempting to see if there were any Hollows in the immediate area. So far Ichigo's luck was short as there hadn't been any strange distortions or changes in the area's Spiritual Pressure. Ichigo landed on the ground, scanning the area with his eyes, his face kept in a serious scowl. "This is weird, I swore there would be Hollows, but so far.....nothing!" Ichigo commented. Ichigo turned as he noticed a boy sitting on a bench nearby. As Ichigo was in his Shinigami form, he knew the boy would most likely not be able to see or hear him, as that was the case normally with Shinigami and Hollows. "Wouldn't hurt to see." Ichigo walked over to the boy, to see if his theory was correct or not.

Raven was peacefully enjoying a read on a bench in town. It wasn't her usual fantasy or dark novel, just a magazine. Normally she wouldn't be caught dead with a tabloid magazine but she'd left all her real books back at the agency, and she wanted to sit and relax, maybe clear her mind. So far she'd read about who had hooked up and what new hairstyles were in. She could feel her brain cells dying by the minute.
Suddenly someone sat down next to her, a boy. He looked normal enough...unlike herself. She quickly through the magazine in a nearby trashcan and faced the boy. "Hey, how's it going?" Normally Raven wouldn't bother, but anything was better than the drivel she was reading. Even a conversation with a complete stranger.

"HEY OUTTA THE WAY!" A small feathered being had sashed into the scene, with a goofy smirk planted on his beak. "Wee, that was fun!" Bean laughed to himself as he looked around, his tongue now hanging out of his mouth. He then looked over to see a group of people. "Oooh, maybe some more suckers to trick!' He told himself innocently. He then waltzed up to them with a pleasant expression. "Heya, watcha guys doooing?" He asked, stretching out the last word, glaring at them with interested eyes. -- Meanwhile Iceland had been sitting on a nearby bench, ignoring the others, especially the green duck that had arrived. Aside from the local bar, the silver haired adolescent usually came here to find sanctuary and peace. It was a quiet moment for Iceland, even Mr. Puffin was being quiet! Not really caring for what the others did, Iceland minded his business as he studied his work, puffin perched on his head. (ooc: Anyone can approach him.)

The sound of someone speaking to him, someone who happened to be next to him, was enough to bring Jim back to reality. He opened his eyes again and looked Raven's way. How had he not noticed her there before? It probably was just the feel of the day that had helped him get so relaxed moments before that had prevented him from seeing Raven. She looked nice enough, though, despite the cloak. Jim hardly say a reason to avoid keeping the conversation up.
"Pretty well, actually. There's hardly anything going on, so I was actually able to relax a little today. In this town, though, it's not really surprising that you'd need to find time like that." Jim replied. He'd hardly had the time before. Sure he was free to do as he pleased, being a detective and all, but he still was kept busy by following little leads on crimes and eventually solving them. Just being able to sit there with someone who was a complete stranger and talk to them was good enough for him. "Don't think I've seen you around before. Who're you?" Jim asked.
Instead of getting an immediate response from Raven, though, Jim got a question from some weird bird thing. Inwardly he groaned a bit. It was supposed to be a quiet sort of day, not the kind of day where birds waltzed up to him and started trying to pester people. "I was relaxing." he replied. There was no hiding the edge of annoyance in his tone. He was irritated by Bean's sudden arrival on the scene.

"Oooh, I can relax too?" Bean asked Jim, his oblivious eyes filled with glee, pestering him and the others even more. "Please, please, pretty pleeasse?" He asked in his usual doofy, annoying fashion.
--
Meanwhile, The Icelandic adolescent on the other hand was starting to get annoyed, and fast. Anyone who knew Iceland well enough, knew that the normally calm teen was quite easily prone to irritation and impatience, especially when it came to obnoxious birds and Danes.
"Hey, would you mind being quite please?" He called out, only hinting slight annoyance in his voice.

Raven was enjoying talking to the boy while it lasted. It seemed he was after the same thing she was-peace and quiet- however, with the bird's incessant begging she could feel her headache coming in. Azar he was worse than Beat Boy. She closed her eyes and mentally recited her mantra. Azarath, Metrion Zynthos... A few rounds of it and her anger and annoyance was under control.
"Relaxing means quiet and calm, OK?" She asked in an even voice. She still felt a bit pestered but she could handle it. "Feel free to sit down if you want, but keep yourself calm, alright?" There was a slight hint of annoyance in those last words, but due to her control it was hard to detect.
With her thoughts on the matter said, she turned back to the boy. "I'm Raven, I work over at the agency for now, but I'm still a full-time Teen Titan." She said. How she wished she could go back to just being one of those things. "So what do they call you?" She asked, a small, rare smile gacing her pale face. Jim and Iceland didn't seem like too bad of company for now.

"Seriously. Some of us have work to do." A young red head girl looked up from her paperwork and glared at Bean. No respect at all, couldn't this be a relaxing time? She just needed to get this paperwork done so her superiors didn't get mad at her. And that was kind of hard to do because it wasn't that difficult to get them mad. But if she missed this deadline, she would probably be fired.
And Jenny didn't want that, not yet anyways.

Bean just scowled a bit at Raven's comment, before turning to here negative words from Iceland and Jenny. "Aww, you guys are no fun." He responded like a disappointed child and folded his arms with a pout, sitting down on the ground.
--
"Finally." Iceland smiled to himself and continued to read through his work. He would've noticed the others if it hadn't been for the fact he was quite busy then. Of course, it didn't stop the chatty Mr. Puffin from being hungry again.
"Hey, Ice ya got any licorice? I'm starvin'!
"No, but if you wait till we get back to the apartment, I bought a whole new pack from the supermarket." Iceland replied, his violet eyes now facing the bird.
"Hey, but I'm hungry now."
"Wait, alright?" Iceland asked, his volcanic temper starting to emerge.
"B-but-"
"I said wait alright! Can't you seem to get that you damn bird!" He exclaimed loudly, loud enough that everyone present had heard him.

Fry had been taking a walk around town. It didn't seem too dangerous around here. Maybe that letter he found was stretching the truth a little to get a few extra grunts. He wondering if the whole agent thing was some kind of a scheme by aliens or something. Eventually, he came across the park and sat to lay down in the grass, his mind still clouded by making up some complex story about aliens and them needing humans for their intergalactic zoo. The orange-haired man's expression was vacant as he just stared at the sky, continueing to make up his theory. He hadn't really noticed he was close to Jim, Raven and the other visitors to the square.
"Yeah...aliens...," Fry said to himself, concludeing his mental tangent.
When his head flopped to the side, he happened to spot the others. He stared as if they appeared out of thin air. Did they hear that? He could totally explain.

"Jim. Jim Hawkins, actually." Jim replied. He could say that he didn't mind being around this Raven girl. Aside from being kind of strange as far as her appearance went, he didn't think she was so bad. The others, on the other hand, were a different matter. Especially Bean. It was taking a lot of Jim's concentration to keep himself from getting unreasonably annoyed at the bird thing. Then again, he guessed he wasn't hurting anyone by being there. What was the harm? Finally, a sigh escaped him. He didn't think it would be too much of a problem.
"I guess you can stay if you really want. But you have to calm down, all right?" Jim asked. The edge of annoyance was back, but he was trying to hide it again. It wasn't as if Bean was making anything explode or something along those lines. It would be fine, or he hoped it would at any rate.
It was after Jim had addressed Bean again that he finally noticed Fry nearby. He'd missed what the redhead had said, and so merely let one eyebrow raise a little as if to ask what was up.

The boy's name got Jenny's attenion, causing her to put her pen down and turn in her chair to face the young teenager. "Jim Hawkins? As in the well known detective?" she asked with a coy smile. Not that she really cared but darn that boy was cute. Maybe it was just teenage hormones talking, but it was detectives like him that got in the way of her job. "Shouldn't you be in school?"

Ichigo shrugged, "Well....I was right, they really can't see me, unless they're ignoring me but it doesn't matter I guess!" Ichigo then Flash Stepped away and was gone. (Ichigo has left the thread.....))

"Famous?" Jim echoed. He knew he was pretty good, or at least thought he was, but famous was a bit much. He looked Jenny's way and frowned a bit. He didn't have to be in school since he was old enough to pretty much be on his own, and on top of that he was a detective. Who was this chick to ask otherwise? "I wouldn't say famous. I haven't had much to keep me busy in terms of work." Jim replied. He didn't think his name was that well known yet, either. That did make him wonder how Jenny knew about him, though.
"How'd you know I was a detective, anyway? I hadn't said anything about that." Jim said. She didn't look familiar, so he couldn't say that he knew her from anywhere before. It was starting to bug him, actually.

Jenny smiled. "I know things Mr. Hawkins, it's not really a quiet town and gossip goes by fast." she stood up from her chair and walked over to get a better look at him. "I just happen to be the local source of anything interesting." she shrugged her shoulders. "Why, does it bother you that i know that?"
