Bean nodded in a swift manner. "Okay pal whatever you say!" He exclaimed with a wink. Moments passed and Bean sat there, probably the longest he had ever been silent, as well as getting bored of Jim and Jenny's conversation. "Boring!" He said out loud as he got up. "Wow, and I thought that Mr. Needlemouse was boring, you guys are like dull oatmeal." The small duck said as he walked away, hopefully relieving the others.
Unlike what Bean would've hoped for, the detective and robot were boring, like most of the others he had met since arriving here. He then looked over to the redhead who had arrived. From what the young duck had heard, he was talking about aliens or something like that.
Bean then walked up to Fry with an excited child like grin on his face. "You said aliens, where?" He asked. '"Boy if there are aliens here that'll be awesome!' He told himself, realizing the potential excitement in his thieving life.

After Iceland's little fit of rage that luckily no one else seemed to notice, the adolescent tried to calm himself down again.
"Alright, alright. Sorry I asked." Mr. Puffin apologized to his master, still perched atop of his head.
Iceland, on the other hand though was already distracted again. While trying to study his work, he couldn't help but over here a bit of Jim and Jenny's conversation. "A detective?" He asked himself. It looked like he had some competition. Even though most in his position should've felt threatened, Iceland didn't really. Unless the other detective had did something to him, he felt like their was no reason to feel in such way. Trying to ignore the conversation, Iceland looked back at his work, trying to resume his studies. He gave a brief glare at Raven who seemed to be getting left out of the conversation, but didn't think much of it.

"Actually, yes. That does bother me because I didn't say anything about being a detective before now." Jim replied. He wanted to know just how Jenny had figured that much out. He never openly told anyone that he was a detective unless they asked or came looking for his services. The latter was mainly how people found him, so how did Jenny know about him? Unless she had heard about shenanigans that had occurred before he became a detective, he didn't know how she could have known anything about him.
"Who are you, anyway? I don't think I've ever seen you around before." he commented. He would have recognized her if she were a client or something, but she wasn't. She was just some girl that happened to know something about him that was starting to get under his skin somewhat.

"I'm Jenny Wakeman, I'm a journalist." she replied. "It's kind of my job to know the ups and downs of this town, including the people in it. And you Mr. Hawkins are one of them." she said pointedly. "I know about the agencies to, they are no skin off my nose."

"A journalist. Right." Jim said. He didn't appear all that impressed, but he'd play along. What harm would there be in playing along with what could have possibly been a cover story? Jim casually folded his arms behind his head and slid down a little so that he was more comfortable on the bench, apparently not particularly caring about the fact that Jenny and the others were still there and could comment on that fact at any moment. So long as he was comfortable, he would be fine.
"So what's a journalist like you doing on a sleepy day like this?" he asked. The day was dull. Peaceful, even. What could there possibly have been to report about on a day like that? It was definitely worthy of raising an eyebrow over.

"Well for future reference, knowing things about complete strangers is a little creepy." She deadpanned. Not like Raven was one to talk about being "creepy". She'd been called that enough times. Maybe Jim was famous around town or something, but it still creeped her out. She said she was a journalist, but Raven wasn't inclined to trust her just yet. In her experience, people who knew things they shouldn't often spelled trouble. Then again, Raven never trusted anyone without time. Not to mention being an empath had it's perks.
Jim then asked Jenny a question and Raven thought it raised a good point. Any half-baked Journalist would probably be scooping out a story by now instead of hanging out with a couple of kids.

Jenny sighed twisting her lock of red hair in her hand. "Looking for a story. I haven't had any good leads in awhile. So, i figured I would come here, hoping i would run into something exciting. And just like usual its been extremely boring and quiet." she rolled her eyes before shrugging. "Can't say that's my fault that the town's a snorefest."

His nose to the ground Runt wasn't looking for a criminal today. He was looking for a bone. The dog would have loved to find a juicy bone to chew on and bury and then dig up and then chew again. His tail wagged though as he saw a group of people. He bounded towards them dumbly saying as he bounded, "Definitely gonna say hello, definitely definitely gonna say hello."
He slid to Jim's front and grinned up at him, tail whipping back and forth. "Hiya! My name's detective Runt. Hi humans and...uh...shiny human! Definitely, definitely a shiny human."

Iceland closed his notebook as looked up from his spot. He was a bit surprised that he found out that he done with work early, much earlier than he normally he would. "Probably because of the lack of clients." He thought to himself, getting up from his spot. It was still quite disappointing to him, the rent was due in a week and if he didn't get any dough soon, it was the slums for him.
He then looked over to the group, still debating whether to join them or not. Though he normally wasn't the social type around strangers, he only a bit curious to what they were conversating about.
"Hey, why don't ya go over them and talk ta them?" Mr. Puffin asked the adolescent. "Hmm." Iceland hummed at the bird, before releasing a huge sigh and walked over to them. "Hello there." He greeted in a flat voice as he walked over to the humans, robot and canine.
