"Right. And I suppose your name is so much better, featherface?" Hiccup asked. Sarcasm was slowly returning to the tired thief. He guessed it was just the food finally getting to him and rejuvenating his worn out body. Either way, he still had some bite in him. It just took a bit longer to kick in than it would have on most days.
Admittedly, Hiccup was surprised that Iceland had been able to guess that much about his heritage. His family had come from a Viking lineage, but unfortunately Hiccup knew little about it. He hadn't stuck around long enough where they'd used to live to know a lot about it."Yeah... my family used to live on an island kind of far from here when I was a baby. But we moved here. That's all I can really say." Hiccup replied. That was the extent of his knowledge. Stoick and his mom had moved them from the island to Crystal Falls, and at the time Hiccup had been too small to remember a lot of it. He only knew that much because he had once asked about it when he was younger and his mother had told him about it.

Mr. Puffin ruffled himself up at bit in anger. "Oi, da name's puffin, Mr. Puffin ya punk!" The bird exclaimed, with his owner ignoring his little outburst. Iceland was more occupied with other matters to pay any attention to him. "An island?" He asked himself, couldn't have been his island, by the time the Norway had found him, the Viking era was coming to an end. Unless he was from Norway, Denmark, Sweden or Finland. Could they know Hiccup?
"Where are you from? You know Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark?" He asked, taking a piece of licorice from the bowl.

"Right. Mr. Featherface, then." Hiccup smirked. He was going to have fun with this bird. He could just feel it. He could play the 'I can annoy you all day' game all he wanted if the puffin stuck around, but if he didn't then that was fine. Hiccup didn't particularly care either way.
The question of where exactly he was from was hard to answer. Hiccup didn't know the name of his old home for certain. His whole life had pretty much been spent in Crystal Falls. A shrug followed. It was his best answer without vocalizing his thoughts. "I really don't know. I was just a baby when I was there last, and my parents didn't tell me all that much about it." Hiccup explained.

"Why you little, I outta rip ya hair out!" Mr. Puffin exclaimed, fully puffed up and ready to attack Hiccup. It would've surely happened if Iceland didn't grab him from his head. "C'mon, Icey, let me at 'im, let me at 'im!" He struggled against the nation's grip. "Can't you go one day without getting into a fight with someone?" Iceland asked the struggling puffin.
While doing so, Iceland did manage to say a few words. "You know how I said, I was a country earlier? Well, my older brother is the country of Norway and I'm good friends with the other Nordics." He said, sounding rather rushed since he was trying to stop a frantic puffin from attacking Hiccup. "That's how I know all about vikings, my brother used to tell me stories all about them when I was younger." He finished, both him and Mr. Puffin getting equally tired.

"Huh..." Hiccup wasn't certain if he was fascinated or just somewhat interested to hear what Iceland knew, but he was listening anyway. It was conversation-worthy, and that was what counted. Despite that, he just shrugged again. He didn't really know what to say in response to that since he didn't feel all that in touch with his Viking roots in the first place. Sure he wore clothing like a Viking, but that had just been the style he'd taken to wearing as a thief. He hadn't realized it might have meant anything.
"Well, like I said, I don't know all that much about my roots. Just that I came from an island and that I ended up here. Kind of boring, really." he commented. Hiccup went for another piece of licorice and began to eat it as he contemplated where the conversation could go next. He was fast running out of things to say that didn't pertain to him.

(*Kicks Iceland muse.*)
Iceland just listened to Hiccup, if anything he was a little bit jealous of his viking heritage, if anything Iceland would've killed to have some involvement with the Vikings, after all he was still a bit sour about finding out that Norway was his real brother, it would've been much more interesting if he desecended from a group of Icelandic natives instead of being his baby brother. The best part was Norway and the others wouldn't be bothering him about calling him Onni-Chan or "Big Brother".
After Mr. Puffin began to tire down, as could be implied with his gasps of breath and less flapping of the wings, he gave in. "Alright, alright ya won, just let go of me." He said before his master released him from his grip and the Arctic bird fluttered over to the bar counter in front of Iceland. Iceland then fixed the puffin's red bow tie, before fixing his own white one.
Despite that, the teen had been listening to Hiccup. "Huh, trust me I know all about boring, almost nothing happens on my Island, except for the erupting volcanoes and geziures, but after spending years watching those, they even become pretty boring. And with the lack of tourists lately, that's why I came here in the first place." He said, possibly lying. There was that one time those Pict Aliens came and wanted to take over the world, but even that was boring since the only countries who were unaffected by the entire incident were Switzerland, Liechenstein and himself. The only good thing about it, was that some of the aliens stood behind and helped him with providing Aurora lights, sure it did help. But he still needed more tourists, if he wanted to avoid bankrupcy.
