Name: Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III
Age: 15
Show/Movie: How to Train Your Dragon
Appearance: Hiccup is a scrawny teenager with a freckled face, slightly bucked teeth, bright green eyes, and scruffy red-brown hair. He typically wears the same long sleeved green shirt, brown pants, and brown boots every day, but they appear rather beaten up and well worn from time spent as a thief. He also has a tiny scar on his chin and walks with a slight limp in his left leg.
Height: 5'0"
Weight: Just under 100 lbs.
Personality: Hiccup is, to put it very simply, a blunt individual who relies on sarcasm to get some of his points across. He can also come off as somewhat arrogant, especially when his plans go his way, and is known for being an inventive young man who is quite intelligent. However, these traits only show themselves after Hiccup has gotten to know someone. For the most part he is withdrawn and doesn't open up in front of others very much. This suits his needs just fine, as he typically has to keep to himself in the first place to avoid being caught. If he did have any close friends, he would be unquestioningly loyal to them. He also tends to go against the grain a lot if he feels he has to.
History: Hiccup was born into a small family of relatively wealthy individuals and lived a pretty good life with his father and mother. For several years all was well. They never really faced any major problems, despite Hiccup and his father's disagreements, and generally went about their days enjoying life to its fullest. One rainy night, though, things changed. Hiccup's family was attacked by assassins seeking to gain from their deaths and killed his parents. They would have killed Hiccup as well, but the scrawny teen was able to get away. He injured his left leg in the process of getting away, though, and earned himself a nasty limp in the process.
Once Hiccup regained his senses, he realized he was on his own. He couldn't hope to run his household all by himself, and so he fled into the night. He didn't wish to seek help from anybody. Instead, Hiccup decided the best thing to do would be to live on his own and scratch out a new living for himself. He ended up becoming a thief to survive, but decided that if he was asked how he came to this state he would feign not knowing how he came to it. He didn't wish to bring up what happened to his family and how it influenced him. These days he generally tries to avoid assassins, agents, and the police. The less he has to do with any of them, the better.
What are you: Thief
Sample Post: Hiccup sat in his little hideout with his back against the wall and his arms crossed behind his head. He thought the previous night had been rather successful. After all, he had succeeded in snagging a few small bags of coins and even a necklace from a home. How he had succeeded was beyond his knowledge, especially when he was clumsy and rather inept, but he had succeeded. That was what counted.
"Now I just have to hope I don't screw any of this up somehow." Hiccup said. He didn't know how he could screw it up, but it was a possibility that he was strongly considering. All he had to do was keep out of the police's radar and avoid being seen as often as possible. How hard could that be?
