Harriet just stuck her tongue out in response. Immature, yes, but she didn't particularly feel like starting a fight. Besides, if he struck first then she could always tattle on him. Naveen surely wouldn't like the fact that a fight broke out... assuming it did in the first place. As for the unicorn, Harriet was fast growing tired of her as well. An irritating guy with a bat and a unicorn who seemed convinced that violence wasn't the answer when they were dealing with assassins. Clearly, sanity wasn't this pair's strong suit.
"As for you, what are you even here for if you're not gonna fight? It seems kinda pointless if you ask me." she stated. If she wasn't going to fight then she might as well have waltzed up to the assassins and begged for them to slit her throat right then and there. "You might as well just ask them to fight you right now. What's the point?" she asked.

"Not all enemies will want to make peace through negotiation." Kitty replied to Twilight's comment. "Many of them will try to kill you if given the chance. I wouldn't put it past htem to try. I have been working for these agents for a few months, and ever assassin i have run into has never wanted a chance for peace. Never." she rubbed her temples before glaring at Scout. "You start a fight hwen i'm around and you'll have to answer to me." she was lucky that Harriet seemed to agree iwth her. "If you are not here to understand that sometimes it takes violence to defeat an opponent then you would be better off not joining the agency."
Starfire looked a little nervous at all the fighthing and yelling. She didn't like this scout guy's attitude, while it did remind her of Beast Boy even a little bit, it was more aggesive and angered. "Please, prehaps this isn't the time to start fighting, after all we are not enemies. They are..."

"As Kitty said, very few of the assassins you will run into will give diplomacy a chance. The turn the other cheek thing will get you killed," Snake said to Twilight. "Listen I can understand the guy is very irritating but you need to learn how to control your emotions. An enemy can use the fact that an emotional outburst would cloud your thinking against you, I almost lost my life a few time because of emotional outbursts," Snake said to Harriet. Finally Snake decided to address Scout, "You are way in over your head kid. You should never try to instigate a fight especially if you do not know your opponent's strengths or weaknesses." Snake then gave Scout a glare that would probably scare many people.

Turning her attention to Snake, Harriet appeared rather irritated by the statement that she needed to control her outbursts. She did not have emotional outbursts! She'd raised her foot in preparation to stamp it down on the floor, which would then be followed by an angry outburst stating that she didn't need to control herself, when another figure arrived on the scene.
Needless to say, Naveen had been trying to catch up on lost sleep when he had heard a commotion going on. It wasn't chaotic enough to be an ambush, thankfully, but it had gotten his attention. Now the leader needed to assess the situation. He stumbled on to the scene and saw what appeared to be a grouping of agents, some of which seemed quite displeased with one another (as evidenced by the fact that it looked like little nine-year-old Harriet was about to throw a tantrum), all having some kind of discussion.
Well. It appears that it is time to play the diplomat again.
"Everyone, be quiet for just a moment and then someone calmly explain what is going on."

"Naveen! Where have you been?" Kitty practically screamed. "no wait, don't tell me. I don't wanna know." she turned back to the group. "The usual annoyances I'm afraid is what's going on. Harriet here has been introduced to the new agents but we were just saying how "friendship and compromising.." will not be all important to defeat the assassins.
"Who exactly are these assassins..." Starfire asked. "I mean what exactly are we up against."

Raven was the first one disturbed by all the fighting. It was nothing new to her. Plenty of arguments broke out in the tower, mostly involving herself and Beast Boy, or Beast Boy and Robin. But just like at home, it was irritating when she was attempting to read. She tried ignoring it, no sense getting into some sort of confrontation with these people yet (Because they seemed like the type and so was she), but when that didn't work and it began to get increasingly hard to control he irritation, she'd had enough.
She stood up and walked onto the scene, the same stoic look on her face as always. "Is there a reason you're all arguing?" She asked monotonously. It seemed pointless to her. Then again not everyone could control their emotions as well as she did. Not everyone was forced to. It was then that Naveen chose to walk onto the scene and she had to resist the temptation to roll her eyes. The fact that he was in charge never ceased to amaze her. It was like putting Beast Boy in charge (Although he'd come in handy during the whole Brotherhood of Evil fiasco, so perhaps she should hold her judgements...)
"Whatever it is, it can't be worse than anything else we've seen." She said to Starfire.

Rainbow Dash walks in. LATE!!!! That was just great the Pegasus was late being here for some kind of what she thought was a meeting. She had overheard the arguing and fighting but decided maybe it was best to stay out of it for a bit just until she had met the people. It was at that point where she heard a familiar voice. She knew that voice anywhere, that was Twilight Sparkle.
"What is she doing here"? Rainbow Dash asked herself in her head. Well someone would have to either stand up for her or let her be killed by an assassin. "Don't worry Dash ya got this just a minor little hiccup, a Minor set back if you will. This is just like with you and Fluttershy" Rainbow said to herself.
Rainbow Dash walks up to the group. "Hi, everyone. Sorry I am late I didn't miss much did I? Anyway, the name is Rainbow Dash." Rainbow Dash said with a confident smirk.

Kitty turned to the newcomers to reply. "I'm Kitty Katswell, one of the higher rank agents, this here is agent Starfire." she replied giving the alien a look. "And this...is Naveen, our lazy if not hard working leader." she said blinking her green eyes at the leader and the other ponies and Raven. "I'm sure we are all going to get along." --- "Oh Raven. I thought i would never see you again!" Star said hugging her friend. "I was afraid you had gotten sucked into a black hole or I don't know, something bad happened to you."

"'Lazy'? My dear Kitty, this is untrue. I am not lazy. I will have you know that I work very hard to keep this place running." Naveen said. He could see Harriet looking at him like she didn't believe that fact, but he could brush it off. His focus was on the pegasus who had just entered and on Starfire's question about who the assassins were. He felt he should really send the message home that the assassins weren't going to play nice. They especially weren't going to listen to any messages about how there was magic in friendship or any compromises that were made. The fact that anyone was even suggesting such a thing made Naveen seriously want to reconsider his reasoning behind letting the unicorn in in the first place.
He cleared his throat and decided to begin his explanation. Standing there all day would accomplish nothing. "These assassins we will have to be dealing with are from a group known as the Dark Dreams Agency. I shall be blunt; the assassins are exactly what they sound like. Brutal, bloodthirsty, and above all else they are unafraid of the consequences of killing someone. Why, I believe they would kill someone just for looking at them the wrong way." Naveen said. It was true, too. Word had been getting around about more killings in the recent days. It was why he had been accepting more members. They needed to be prepared to face the assassins.
"If you are here because you believe that you can make the assassins listen to reason, then I have one thing to say to that. You are better off leaving right now. Assassins will not listen to reason. They have been trained to kill, and if they see any signs of weakness, or anything they consider to be a sign of weakness, they will kill you. No hesitation. I, for one, do not want to lose anyone because they thought it would be a good idea to try and make an assassin listen to them." he said. It was odd, hearing the usually doofy leader sound so serious, but that was how it stood. It was kill or be killed, and there were no other options for dealing with them.
"Assassins will not show you the kindness of offering a chance to run away, either. They show no mercy." he said. Though, that last bit was unsurprising. While Naveen couldn't put faces to the names, he had heard whispers of assassins with names like The Ripper and the Soul Reaper. They weren't playing around, and Naveen felt that the agents shouldn't play around either. "That is why I am going to offer you all this one chance. If you do not think you are up to snuff, or cannot handle dealing with assassins knowing they will not listen to reason, then you may leave now. Know that I will not stop you if you believe that it would be best for you to leave."

Rainbow Dash just stood there looking like she wasn't gonna budge when Naveen warned them. "Don't you worry about that, Mr. Naveen sir. I don't mean to brag or anything, but I am Rainbow Dash one of the Toughest and fastest and swiftest Pegasus's ever on Cloudesdale. Some people may not be cut out for being an agent but I am." Rainbow Dash said confidently.

Snake threw away his cigarette butt and lit another cigarette. "We are just have a disagreement about how to deal with assassins, sir," Snake told Naveen. Snake noticed that the two newcomers were also somewhat strange; a grey skin girl in a blue hood and horse with wings and a rainbow colored mane. To Snake it seemed like Raven knew how to keep her cool but RD seemed to be a lot like the man with the bat.
"We need to know more about the assassins besides who they are. We need to know their numbers, the weapons they have, and what they are capable of," Snake said in to response to Starfire's question. Snake then listened to Naveen explain the situation with the assassins and was impressed with how he could control the situation. "No need to worry about me sir, I am not stranger to killing others," Snake said to Naveen in a very calm and casual tone.
"If we are doing introductions, you can call me Solid Snake or just Snake," Snake said to anyone who cares and realizing that anyone with common sense and any intelligence could tell that is a code name. He realized that he made Harriet angry and he isn't here here to make friends, he should not piss of one of the few rational agents anymore. "I'm sorry if I offended you, I was just trying to give some advice," Snake said to Harriet.

Flynn had walked into the room, whistling to himself and lost in his own thoughts. Unlike most of the other agents that paticular day, the man had been busy with other matters, important matters in fact. But whatever they were, they were over now and Flynn had the whole day to himself and his beautiful wife.
As soon as the young man stepped into the room, he was quite surprised to see how many other agents were there. "Whoa, talk about busy." He commented to himself, before walking in on the large group, his natural charm on.
"Hey, now what's going on here?" He asked casually walking closer to the group of agents.

((I'm gonna have to make a crappy post because everything just wooshed by in front of me :/))
Fry just sort of zoned out. At first, he was pretty sure he was listening to Scout and then there was the purple pony. And then there was something about "friendship". Now apparently there's a fight going on. And more weird people/animals. He pocketed his hands and glanced up at the ceiling, waiting out the little swabble. The orange-haired man snapped out of it when Naveen, who was obviously, even to him, the leader. Well, looks like it's dieing down now. Whatever that was about.
He re-directed his eyes toward Flynn, who just entered. Fry make a bewildered-looking face and reaponsed;
"I have no idea. There was this purple pony and then something about shooting people, or something."

Before she knew it, Raven was engulfed in one of Starfire's bone-crushing hugs. She forgot how much those hurt...but missed them nonetheless. The alien girl with the Hercules-like strength was her best friend, so she'd put up with it. "Star...need to breathe." She choked out.
When she was released she cleared her throat. "Naveen is right." She started. "I believe your friends can give you unimaginable strength, at least in my experience, but that means nothing if you're not willing to fight." During her battle with her father, Starfire, Robin, Cyborg and Beast Boy gave her the strength she needed to believe in herself and defeat her father, thus saving the world from the horrid apocalypse. But she had to fight to win. If she tried reasoning with Trigon, he would have killed her friends and kept her as his souvenir. Friendship could only get you so far. "I've met and faced people who can and will kill you without a second thought. These assassins are no different."

Twilight sighed, this fighting was getting her nowhere, "Very well....I'll stay. If it means protecting people, then I'm willing to fight. Even if I do face an enemy, I won't outright kill them, that's just wrong!" Twilight turned to Rainbow Dash, "Rainbow, thank Celestia you're here, I was hoping that somepony would eventually come along." She embraced the pegasus in a hug.
